Great Project Management Tool

If you deal with project management activities (and who doesn’t?) or perhaps maintain a handful of customers in a group setting, I strongly encourage you to look at an online tool called Basecamp (www.basecamphq.com).

Basecamp is an easy-to-use project management and collaboration system. It basically offers a graphic interface area that you and others can work from. For example, let’s say that you’re working on a new product launch. A project management team is developed that includes the project lead, the operations supervisor, the distribution manager, the marketing team, and the sales director.

In order to manage the project, the team uses Basecamp to work from a common calendar with deadlines, share files, and collaborate solely about the project. Everyone is kept current on the overall progress so miscommunication (one of the biggest challenges of project management) is kept to a minimum.
